About

Corey grew up in the St. Louis area in a Christian household that taught him to love Jesus, value family, and root for the St. Louis Cardinals.
After graduating high school, he attended Harding University in Searcy, AR on a tennis scholarship. There he found a passion for ministry through a men's devotional he led. After completing a ministry internship, he decided to pursue ministry as a full-time career.
His junior year in college he studied abroad in Israel, Greece, and Turkey; his Bible became more vibrant and alive with each ancient site he visited. During his time overseas, he met a girl named Meghin he would marry 18 months later.
After his graduation, he took a job as a middle school minister at a church in Little Rock, AR. Three years later, God called him to another student ministry at a church in Jacksonville, FL.
In Jacksonville, The Lord blessed Corey and his wife in numerous new and exciting ways. Corey started a tennis coaching business while Meghin furthered her career in education. The Lord blessed them with parenthood in 2019 and then again in 2021, two beautiful girls that have captured their daddy's heart.
In the midst of all the change, The Lord called Corey to do something he'd never done before: write. Initially, The Man Called Messiah was a project born out of a need for a struggling student in Corey's youth ministry. But just like the fishes and loaves, The Lord took Corey's small endeavor and multiplied it in incredibly unexpected ways.
Corey continues to live in Jacksonville ministering to teenagers, teaching tennis, playing with his daughters, and working on his next book.
